COMPANY HISTORY Jones Finance, Inc. was founded on November 26, 1990 by Charles L. Jones and Chong Suk Jones. Charles L. Jones, is a retired Army First Sergeant. While in the service, he experienced first hand the difficulties for military members obtaining short term small loans. As a young enlisted man, Mr. Jones was denied many times as junior enlisted soldier for loans he was a low ranking soldier, in spite of his good character and his capacity to repay the debt.
Retired from the U.S. Army on January 31, 1989, he wanted to go into business for himself. He wanted a business that he would be able to continue to help soldiers and support others in the military that were not being served adequately by the lending industry.
It was not long before Mr. Jones realized that other federal employees also needed a source for short term small loans. He expanded the company to include others with an emphasis on federal employees, U.S. Postal Service Employees, and U.S. Armed Forces Retirees. Jones Finance Inc., offers loans up to $3000 to help consumers meet their immediate financial needs.
