COMPANY HISTORY Jones Finance, Inc. was founded on November 26, 1990 by Charles L. Jones and his wife Chong Suk Jones. Charles Jones, as a retired Army First Sergeant, had experienced, first hand, the difficulties military personnel experience when trying to gain short term and small loans. As a young enlisted man, Charles Jones was rejected loans repeatedly for various reasons, in spite of his favorable military standing and credit, and his ability to repay the debt.
Retired from Military service in 1989, Charles Jones decided to form a finance company that would make loans available to military personnel. Mr. Jones knew from first-hand experience that there were times when some financial assistace was needed to help make it to the next payday or to make ends meet during the holidays. It was also his desire to make these loans available to those who may be experiencing difficulties in obtaining credit.
It was not long before Charles Jones realized that other federal employees also needed a source of smaller loans and so he expanded the company to include other occupations with an emphasis on Federal employees, United States Postal Service Employees, Armed Forces Retirees and School Teachers. Jones Finance Inc., offers loans up to $3000 to help consumers meet their immediate financial needs.
